At this year's transport logistics fair in Munich, PTV Group and Transcamion Schiffahrtsagentur GmbH signed an agreement. From now on, freight ferry information will be integrated in PTV`s logistic software. It will offer operator information for departure, journey and standby times - an important step on the journey to an overall routing software solution.
We offer over 500 freight ferry routes and therefore a current overview over the market - one of the many benefits available to Transcamion customers. Soon all PTV logistics software users will benefit from these improvements too.

The ferry routes will be available for the first time in Version 3 of the Cloud-route planner PTV Map & Guide which will be released in September 2013. Therefore, the operator will benefit from more detailed information on ferry routes enabling them to send a booking directly through PTV software. Ferry timetables will be updated on an on-going, regular basis.
